Works

Q1. What is an "edition"?
A1. An edition is a number which shows how many same prints exist in the world. For example, "Edition 15/30" means that the work is the 15th out of 30 limited editions.

Q2. Are the works framed?
A2. If works come framed, this will be indicated on the artwork's page, with details on the framing style according to the artist's recommendation. The cost of these frames will also be indicated on the artwork's page.

Q3. Are these artworks from the secondary market (i.e. second-hand)?
A3. No. All artworks are from primary galleries or come directly from the artists.

Q4. Can I buy an unlisted artwork by an artists whose other works are on sale?
A4. We may be able to arrange your order. Please feel free to contact us.

Q5. I haven't quite made up my mind yet. Can you reserve the art work for me?
A5. We cannot reserve artworks. We recommend that you purchase any works that may interest you before they get sold.

Q6. Do you buy back artworks if I originally purchased them through Azito?
A6. No. We do not have services to buy art works, even if it was sold on our website.

Payment Process

If you have a Paypal account, please log in. If you do not have a Paypal account, click "Continue" on the left side. You can proceed your payment without creating an account on PayPal.

Paypal is a secure payment system. You can make a purchase without revealing your credit card number or financial information to the merchant.

Q1. What is PayPal?
A1. Paypal is a secure payment system. With PayPal, you can make a secure purchase without revealing your credit card number or financial information to us. PayPal accepts credit cards, debit cards and bank account payments. >>Go to PayPal website to learn more.

Q2. Do I have to create a PayPal account to pay for a purchase?
A2. No, you do not have to create an account. There is an option that allows you to pay without creating an account. See the Payment Process - step 2 above.

Q3. I want to buy several works at once. Why there is no "shopping cart" on the website?
A3. In some cases, we might be able to send the works together and reduce your shipping costs. If you wish to buy several works at the same time, please contact us directly via e-mail.

Q4. Why do I have to pay the import tax?
A4. Since we export the artwork directly from Japan, your country's import regulations requires you to pay an import tax. Notification regarding the Import/Consumption tax will be provided by the dispatch company when you receive your purchase.
For example, in the US, tariff for the works of art, collectors' pieces and antiques are Free for 2010. But please note that the consumption tax will be imposed.

Shipping

Q1. How do you ship the artworks?
A1. All artworks are packaged with the most professional services available, to minimize the risk of damage during shipping and delivery.

Q2. Can you arrange shipping insurance?
A2. Insurance will be arranged for by the dispatch company. These costs have already been included in the grand total.

Q3. What if the artwork get damaged during shipping?
A3. In the rare case that the artwork gets damaged in the shipment process, contact us immediately or within 5 days after the work reached to your address. We will guide you through your options. These may include replacing the damaged work (in the case of multiple editions) or providing a full refund. Please be advised that we might not be able replace damaged prints after the run has sold out. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any responsibility for work that has arrived damaged if you have not contacted us within 5 days of receiving your order. We suggest that customers inspect their artwork as soon as possible after they receive it.

Q4. I live in the US. How much will it cost to ship to me?
A4. Shipping costs differ among each of the artworks, since the size, volume and weight of each work varies. Exact shipping costs for each artwork are shown on the indivisual artwork's page.

Q5. I don't live in the US. Can you still send artworks to me?
A5. Yes, we will send artworks to countries other than the US. If the cost is not indicated, do not hesitate to contact us and we will estimate the shipping cost for you.
After we estimate your shipping cost, the invoice will be sent via the PayPal system. You can proceed your payment through the PayPal with you credit card. Shipping address will be asked in this process too.

Q6. How long does it take for the artworks to arrive?
A6. It depends on each work, but it usually takes anywhere from two to three weeks. Estimated delivery time is indicated on each work's page.

Q7. Why does it take so long to receive the artwork?
A7. Some works require printing or framed after we receive your order. Please check the estimate delivery time declared on each work's page.

Q8. My artwork hasn't arrived yet.
A8. We will send you an email when we shipped your artwork with a tracking number. Please check the dispatch company (usually Fedex or EMS) for the shipping status.

Cancel & Refund

Q1. Can I cancel my order?
A1. All sales are final. We cannot cancel or change your order after the payment has been confirmed.

Q2. Can I return a work if I don't like it?
A2. We do not accept returns on artworks, except in the rare event of unexpected damage to the artwork during shipping. All sales are final, so please decide carefully.

Q3. I found a defect on the work I bought. Can I return the artwork and be refunded?
A3. Since the works are directly from primary galleries or artists, it is highly unlikely that they would have any defects. If there is a flaw except declared in the condition on works' page please contact us within 5 days after the work reached to your address. We will guide you through your options. These may include replacing the damaged work (in the case of multiple editions) or providing a full refund. Please be advised that we might not be able replace damaged prints after the run has sold out. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any responsibility for work that has arrived damaged if you have not contacted us within 5 days of receiving your order. We suggest that customers inspect their artwork as soon as possible after they receive it.
